Polish band performing music from the borderline of dub, hip-hop and electronics. Their compositions are supported by a strong beat, deep bass and complemented by electronic aura making this project finished and coherent. The compositions are close to the On-U Sound and Adrian Sherwood’s productions strongly connected with the 90’s. RAT is taking the listener in a dub and hip-hop journey from the first to the the last sound. Each of the lyrics are supported by the degree of lyricism which differs this mysterious duo. To underline urbanity of this project the band choose symbol of a rat. Rat considered as an intelligent animal easily moving in the city structure but at the same time is being perceived as disgusting misfit, living on a sidelines. Sounds are created in their own studio called Nervous Breakdown.
