In the last few days, this new festival site has become home to many reggae, dub, roots, ska and similar music genre lovers from the region and whole Europe. At the very entrance of the \u0160ibenik channel, and with a beautiful view of the City of \u0160ibenik, the new location left everyone speechless. The Seasplash program began with the first ever Opening concert last Wednesday, on one of the most beautiful stages of the Adriatic, St. Michael&#8217;s Fortress in \u0160ibenik. On this stunning location the\u00a0<strong>New York Ska Jazz Ensemble, Brain Holidays and Bass Culture Sound System<\/strong>\u00a0took the stage.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-10143 img-responsive\" src=\"http:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/839A2322-Dub-Pistols-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/839A2322-Dub-Pistols-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/839A2322-Dub-Pistols-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/839A2322-Dub-Pistols-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/839A2322-Dub-Pistols-130x87.jpg 130w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/839A2322-Dub-Pistols.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The festival then moved to Martinska, where visitors could hear over 50 music names on four festival stages, but also enjoy the rich daily program of free workshops, the beach, bazaars, souvenir shops and merchandise, and free accommodation at the festival camp. In the past days, Seasplash and \u0160ibenik have been an unavoidable destination for fans of good music and a relaxed atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Thursday, the first day of the festival, was marked by the performances of the ingenious dub producer\u00a0<strong>Mad Professor<\/strong>, the Italian reggae band\u00a0<strong>Patois Brothers<\/strong>\u00a0and the Austrian dub band\u00a0<strong>Moby Stick<\/strong>\u00a0at the MainSplash stage, and also various artists at the DubSplash and SoundSplash stages, where the dance lasted until early morning hours. Friday has brought an excellent continuation of the festival atmosphere with performances from\u00a0<strong>Krak in Dub, Janaka Selekta, Cause4Concern<\/strong>, and local artists\u00a0<strong>High5<\/strong>\u00a0and K<strong>ali Fat Dub<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-10142 img-responsive\" src=\"http:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/67109518_2805808796113109_4644273490080301056_o-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/67109518_2805808796113109_4644273490080301056_o-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/67109518_2805808796113109_4644273490080301056_o-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/67109518_2805808796113109_4644273490080301056_o-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/67109518_2805808796113109_4644273490080301056_o-130x87.jpg 130w, https:\/\/seasplash-festival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/67109518_2805808796113109_4644273490080301056_o.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Saturday was reserved for\u00a0<strong>Adrian Sherwood<\/strong>, a legendary British producer, known for his diversity in working with various musicians like Blur, Nine Inch Nails, Sinead O&#8217;Connor, The Cure. There were also the leaders of the British roots and dub scene &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Vibronics<\/strong>, a Belgrade based band\u00a0<strong>Soulcraft<\/strong>\u00a0with the new singer\u00a0<strong>Ras Mc Bean<\/strong>, five-piece dub band from Zagreb\u00a0<strong>Bamwise<\/strong>, and their fellows\u00a0<strong>One Dread<\/strong>, known for their covers of roots, rock, reggae and dancehall hits.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Despite the fact that it was the last festival day, Sunday was hyped and cheerful because of the awaited performance by the Jamaican icon and the music revolutionary\u00a0<strong>Lee &#8220;Scratch&#8221; Perry<\/strong>, who at the age of 83, came to the Seasplash Festival for the first time, only a month after the release of the highly praised album &#8220;Rainford&#8221;. The mixture of dubbing, dub, hip-hop, ska and punk genres was brought to the festival by the British band\u00a0<strong>Dub Pistols<\/strong>, and there was also a joint performance of the energetic eight piece French band\u00a0<strong>Joke<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Dubamix<\/strong>.
