Ludbreg is a town in Croatia translated to English, it’s name means Crazy Hill. But, what is more important than this trivia, is the fact that Ludbreg has it’s candidate in the Soundsystem race. And what a candidate! Pero aka Old Lady Soundsystem has left us speechless after turning on his boxes to present his crystal clear yet warm sound. Yes, warm sound, while the Soundsystem scene is turning towards digital lightweight amplifiers Old Lady Soundsystem cherishes the tradition of analog amplifiers and lamp preamplifiers that he makes himself.
Pero’s studious approach to Soundsystem culture is deeply rooted in its tradition, both of a technical nature and in the selection based on the Roots and Culture sound – with which his Soundsystem shows its full expression.
