Chakka and Popay are two MC’s well known to one part of the audience for their work in other projects – Zion Crew and Kinstoned Sound. Even though they would disagree, we can say that they are still young and perspective. Combining styles they refreshed the Croatian “underground” scene. Surprise was their new project “Skvot i komšiluk”, manually recorded, cut and distributed on last years Seasplash festival, during which they also had a role as Masters of Ceremony. The album became noticed for its stories about everyday squat life, their neighbours, barking dogs and bar cleaning… We wish them great success, so their hip-hop rub a dub jungle can get them expensive cars and gold chains.
