Sandokan Hifi is a Berlin-based Roots & Culture Sound with wholistic conscious attitude. Since 2006 Unno, Alemayehu and Rawlph Dread are playing Reggae Music from late 70s Jamaican Rockers Style up to 80s Rub-A-Dub and 90s UK Dub and Steppas – all vocal-version-wise and with emancipatory political orientation. They deal with the true concept of Reggae: Roots Rock Reality, Message Music that touches Heart, Soul, Mind and Body at the same time.
It’s not about just playing the tunes, but as well telling the stories behind and pointing out Reggae’s social-revolutionary side. With Rawlph Dread on the Mic they got a talented MC who keeps riding the Dub-versions inna original Deejay-Style.
