Illbilly Hitec is a Berlin based collective, that is out to put the rootsy vibe back into modern productions, blending influences of dub, cumbia, bass music, hip-hop and jungle into a very own style of reggae. When they perform live, they team up with MC-s and guest musicians, to fuse the raw energy of a traditional band performance, with the flow, excitement and hype of a DJ set.
They have various single releases, the debut album Reggaetronics and growing feedback of hundreds of clubs and festival shows in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America made Illbilly Hitec become one of the most exciting newcomers of it’s genre. With the release of the second album Reggae Not Dead, they add an even wider range of flavors to their live performance. They will be back on tour featuring Kinetical on vocals from spring 2017 on. He is the flagship of the Austrian reggae and bass music scene, showing a wide range of rap, raggamuffin and grime styles. Together they are going to present their common new album One Thing Leads To Another and present it at the Seasplash Festival.
