PowerTape platform from Pula will make their first appearance at the Seasplash Festival this year.
Luka Borna Bošnjak aka Algoriddim is a young student from Pula, whose hobbies mainly consist of riding his BMX bike and following the sound system culture. In the past couple of years he started developing a serious passion for dub music and his journey officially started through the PowerTape platform a couple of months ago. He currently mainly works as technical support at Klub Kotač where he is perfecting his skills of sound and light engineering. Algoriddim is known for his defined taste in reggae and dub music, and until now he has made an appearance in Kotač and at the legendary Fort Punta Christo. In Algoriddim’s selection you can find many old school dub pieces, a bit of roots and reggae, and also some little-known local dub songs that he likes to dig up from musical archives. We are sure that his taste in dub music won’t disappoint you and that the sound system will make your body vibrate.
PowerTape is a youth platform formed in Klub Kotač, Pula, Croatia. It was created to inspire the youth, aged from 18 to 25, to start growing the local scene through lots of different events and gatherings oriented towards all kinds of music. The mission behind PowerTape is to show young people that they indeed possess the power to create their own cultural scene and to choose which content they want to consume, and also to give them a free and open space where they can grow, be creative and have fun with their peers.
