Šarena pojava a.k.a. Multicolored Phenomenon is one of those phenomena – sorry, a band – that was conceived by chance meeting in the late hours of a good party. Two guys from Sisak, Croatia – Mirko Međed – a rocker at heart, with many years of experience in the band Pištolj na gumene metke (Rubber Bullets Gun) – and Dario Županić – in local hip-hop circles known as Župnik (the Pastor) – clicked on the first and found themselves in a joint project. They soon stringed together a handful of songs of social, intimate and satirical themes, fluently torn, and reinforced with a sound of solid rock, grunge and punk. Their colleagues Matija Lović on drums, Valentino Žmirić on bass and Sven Tomanić on trumpet soon joined the band, and the Phenomenon became complete. And multicolored.
