Joe carved himself in the scene while he was running his Raygun Youth club night in Southampton for nearly a decade bringing some of the biggest names in hip hop, drum and bass and dubstep to the South Coast. This gave him the taste for being on stage and while DJing for Brighton based MC Influx the pair supported a number of high profile hip hop acts and toured a number of European festivals. It was at Outlook Festival in 2012 he met dubstep producer Seven, just as he had started Uprise Audio and was asked to join the crew as resident MC.
Nearly 6 years later Joe has developed his style as a dubstep and drum and bass MC in the booth and on stage with a string of releases and shows around the globe. He is now a resident fixture for a string of labels including Uprise Audio, Flexout Audio, and Cyberfunk to name a few. A real lyricist at heart Joe doses every set he appears on with a string of thought-provoking bars and strictly good vibes.
Joe is going to perform with DJ 207 at this year’s festival edition, and with plenty in the pipeline for 2018, it is definitely a good time to name check this guy!
