Even though the Seasplash Festival has been around for a quite a long time now, the guys from “Subsistence Soundsystem” also haven’t just been around since yesterday and are a force to be reckoned with from Austria to the Adriatic.”King Cone” has been on the turntables for over 10 years and is up for anything with fat basslines. With his Dub, Bass-Music and Techno sets and his involvement in the club event (Gfrasta Blasta | RAWting! etc.) and soundsystem scene (Stereofreezed), “King Cone” is one of the rocks in the Austrian surf. This year “DJ Diaz” has been in the game for 22 years and has returned to his love, the sweet “roots reggae disco” of the 1970s. “DJ Diaz” is a DJ, soundsystem activist, scientist, cultural manager, promoter and entertainer. Club series like “TUBEKLUB” or “Bassive”, the soundsystem project “Stereofreezed” and the cultural exchange platform “Austrian Bass Music” originate from his commitment to the scene. “King Cone” and “DJ Diaz” have launched their new project “SUBSISTENCE SOUNDSYSTEM” in the summer of 2020 and are already looking forward to a wonderful 20th anniversary with the Seasplash Festival and its bass family.
