Multimedia Platform for Education and Development – VisuaLab/EduSplash, with the main objective to contribute to the inclusion of youth in the processes of design and organization of cultural events, will carry out various activities as part of the festival project called S.O.S. (Seasplash Organizational Support).
The project encourages educational platform participants to engage in:
- different organizational festival teams (production, programme, administration, promotion, volunteer coordination, etc.) with mentorship of different team leaders. Thus, the participants of educational programme “Organisation and Production of Cultural Events” have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and useful experience which will complement the theoretical knowledge acquired during the first part of education;
- live sound production process on stage and FOH (Front of House) under the expert guidance of mentor Damir Babojelić. Due to the complexity and responsibility, this specific segment of the festival activities is intended only for participants of advanced level education “Live Sound Production”. However, there is an open call for special edition education “Audio Workshop – SoundSystem Edition” with soundsystem dabster Robert Martinović (Bamwise, Digitron Sound).The call is open to all visitors and participants. - recording and video documenting of the festival activities, artists, the atmosphere through making of their own video. The participants of education “Camera Recording and Editing” will also be engaged in editing of the recorded video materials after the festival. The festival workshop will be conducted by David Tešić, graduate television producer and longtime documentarist of Seasplash Festival. - monitoring and photo documenting of the festival activities, artists, the atmosphere under guidance of mentor Daniel Kiršić, longtime photographer of Seasplash festival. This educational programme is conducted as a practical part of educational programme “Photography (Basic level)” which is conducted by Hassan Abdelghani and Daniel Kiršić, well known photographer and artist .
