DubSplash showcase at the 12th Outlook Festival

The 12th edition of the Outlook festival, Europe’s largest festival of bass music and sound system culture at the Fort Punta Christo, which will take place from 5th until 9th September, will traditionally be opened with a concert at the Pula Amphitheatre on the 4th of September.

Mala & The Outlook Orchestra will headline the show. Mala, one of the most important artists in modern bass music, whose creativity and influence are still on the top even after 20 years on stage, will be followed by The Outlook Orchestra rhythm section. With them, the festival will be opened by drum’n’bass legend Andy C, rapper Loyle Carner, Shy FX, and his Ragamuffin Soundsystem, Gentleman’s Dub Club and rising star Flohio. After that, the festival moves to the magical fort of Punta Christo, where over 300 bass musicians from all over the world will perform in four days. Among them will be excellent regional and local names.

The Subdub Arena stage, on Thursday, 5th of September, will be hosted by the local forces who will be presenting the sound of the Seasplash Festival through the DubSplash showcase. The 17th Seasplash Festival has moved to a new location this year, and was successfully held in Šibenik, more precisely at Martinska, at the end of July.  DubSplash, one of the most important Seasplash stages, will once again take over one of the stages of the Outlook Festival this year. The team is made up of artists who have performed at the longest-running Croatian festival dedicated to dub, reggae and bass music for the past years. There are two Slovenian duos; dubstep, grime, and bass duo – DubDiggerz and Roots in Session, then Croatian dub duo Obi & Anja G. Egoless joins them in the live dub mix, followed by the first Croatian sound system Digitron. There is also interesting live duo Kali Fat Dub and the duo form Split, Banana Zvuk, composed of Luka Barbić from TBF and Ivan Jurić – Yuri, from ST!llness.

All this takes place with unavoidable experiences on the open sea with more than 45 announced party boats, two parties in tunnels deep below the center of Pula and a grand opening concert at the PulaAmphitheatre on September 4th. The final edition of the Outlook Festival at Fort Punta Christo should not be missed. Join us!
