We have a big jubilee ahead of us – the 10th Seasplash platform which will take place during December on various locations in Pula and offers a variety of musical and urban events. This year’s Platform is an integral part of the December in Pula event, organized by the City of Pula, which will bring to citizens of Pula and their guests 165 events on 38 locations. Seasplash platform presents a few subcultural styles, creatively participating in their promotion through many cooperations and presenting them yearly during the Seasplash platform manifestation.
The 10th Seasplash platform will take place on four locations in Pula from 10th until 31st December. The organizer is the Seasplash association, supported by participants of the EduSplash multimedia platform for education and development. Admission is free for all events.
Wanted Skate Contest
Saturday, 10th December (11am-02am)
Skate park / After SMC Rojc, Pula
The 10th Seasplash platform will start with a skate contest, held for the first time in one of the most amazing skate parks in Europe – Community center Rojc in Pula. Association Wanted gathered competitors from Croatia and the rest of the region. They will show their skateboarding skills in many categories during the competition, with music support from the local DJ’s.

C.U.B.E. Breakdance and Hip-Hop Contest Vol. 4

SC Pattinaggio Pula
The fourth breakdance and hip-hop competition will take place in Sports Center Pattinaggio in Pula. Aboriginal association is gathering domestic and international dancers. They can show their knowledge and skills on this spectacular musical and dancing event. Beside the dancers from Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, dancers from Morocco will perform for the first time on this contest.

Urban Penetration

Tito’s Park Pula
Urban Penetration is a special event when Seasplash association penetrates in the buildings and venues that are located in Pula and haven’t hosted any events before. That’s the only way these venues get cultural and entertainment purpose and function. This year’s Urban Penetration is conceived as a concert of two bands, famous The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble from US and Shugo’s Foosy from Pula.
The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble (NYSJE) is an internationally renowned recording and touring group. Since the bands inception in 1994, they have released ten CDs and they have performed regularly throughout Europe, Canada, USA, and South America. They were playing before in bands such as Toasters, Skatalites, Scofflaw, etc. They play a combination of dancehall, reggae, rock-steady and jazz. They are recognised by their energetic and high quality performances. You shouldn’t miss their show on the 10th Seasplash platform.

Shugo’s Foosy is a band founded in Pula in 2011 and consists of Alen Spada (guitar), Leon Brenko (keyboards), Boris Boskovic (bass) and Dusan Kranjc (drums). Four musicians coming from the same town, with different backgrounds, sharing same interests in jazz, pop, rock and traditional music, started working together on some original music quite spontaneously. The chemistry that was present since the beginning resulted with the authentic sound that can be described as groovy, melodic and comprehensible to fans of any music genre. Even though their style of is set as jazz/ethno/fusion, these musicians are open to various influences and combinations of styles in order to express their emotions. Their first album was released in 2014 called Grains of Sand.
