These are just some of the great comments caught on the camera by David Tešić from DMT Production on the last year’s 16th edition of the Seasplash Festival at Fort Punta Christo near Pula. In the five-minute video we are time traveling, and going back to last July, to remember the great atmosphere that awaits us this year in the upcoming special Seasplash Festival Exodus edition, on a completely new location – Martinska beach, near Šibenik from 18 until July 21. David’s camera takes us to the festival beach, in the camp, among the participants of numerous workshops, among the dazzling audience and on many Seasplash stages.

Most importantly, we talked to some of the most important music guests hosted by the festival last year. Father of today’s MCs U-Roy, veteran of the jungle movement MC Navigator, Ras Kayleb from one of today’s most important sound systems Channel One, author of best dub album in 2018 Dubmatix, the famous jungle and dubstep MC Parly B, the force behind British bass scene Gardna, Oliver Nektarijević the leader of the famous regional band Kanda, Kodža and Nebojša and domestic talents Roots Daughter and Filip Motovunski. They all have an important message for those who are preparing to visit Seasplash Festival this summer.

For the first time in 17 years of the festival, Seasplash Festival is taking a trip down to the south, to beautiful Dalmatia, more precisely to Martinska pier and beach. Situated directly across the sea from the historic City of Šibenik, on the unique Srim Peninsula and at the entrance of the Port of Šibenik, Martinska will open a new chapter in the festival’s history.

From the 18th until 21st July Seasplash will be the perfect place to enjoy reggae, dub, drum and bass, jungle, ska and punk, at the Adriatic sea, and in the sun. First three headliners will be the three unstoppable kings of dub and reggae: Lee “Scratch” Perry, Scientist and Mad Professor and more names will be revealed next week.

Besides its new location, Seasplash has a new design created by a longtime collaborator and festival designer Marijana Krbot.
